Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Posted by: logan25 on: September 11, 2010

I know, I know it has been forever since I’ve last posted an update! Things have been very busy lately! But, one of my New Year Resolutions was to finish the Harry Potter series. I am toward the end of the 5th one, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix right now and over the summer read harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K Rowling which is about a boy wizard (Harry Potter!) during his 4th year of Wizarding school. In this particular book, the annual sport of Quidditch is cancelled an in its place the Triwizard Tournament takes its place, this tournament is hundreds and hundreds of years old! It involves two other Wizarding schools. One requirement to enter was you had to be 17 so Harry( and everyone else) was shocked when Harry… WAIT! I can’t tell too much! This book is my favorite one in the series and I highly suggest you read it :) !
I give this book a 5 out of 5 star rating, it was well written, a great story line and the characters are very lovable! My favorite part is probably the first chapter.

Here is an excerpt:
“There was a pause in which Hermione beamed at the pair of them, and Harry sat, torn between exasperation at Hermione and amusement at the look on Ron’s face. The silence was broken, not by Ron… but by a soft tap tap on the window.”
